iMac models: an overview

Note on the scope of delivery for iMacs

Our iMacs are delivered without a keyboard and mouse. This is because many of our customers already have a mouse and keyboard, and we don't want them lying around unused. We hope you understand this decision. At the same time, we want to offer you the flexibility to choose accessories according to your own preferences and offer a wide selection in our accessories category.

What are the advantages of an iMac over a MacBook?

Larger display

The iMac has a larger screen than the MacBook. This can be an advantage for graphic designers, video editors, and anyone who needs a larger screen for their work.

More powerful

In general, the iMac has more processing power than the MacBook. This is because the iMac has more room for powerful components such as a faster processor, more memory, and a dedicated graphics card.

Upgradable

The iMac is more upgradeable than the MacBook. You can easily add more RAM or upgrade the hard drive on the iMac, while doing so on the MacBook is much more difficult or even impossible.

Better for a desk

The iMac is designed for desktop use and comes with a built-in stand. This means you don't have to buy a separate stand or docking station to use it comfortably on your desk.

Better for sharing

The iMac may be the better choice if you plan to share it with other people, as it is easier to share and set up for multiple users.

Overall, the iMac is the better choice for anyone who needs a powerful desktop computer with a larger screen, while the MacBook is more portable and better suited for mobile use.
