Material
For our packaging materials, we only choose FSC® cardboard that meets our high standards for sustainable production. The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) is an international organisation that promotes the sustainable management of forests. The FSC® seal guarantees that wood and other forest products come from forests that are managed according to strict ecological, social and economic criteria.
In order to optimally protect the products, we use PE film for our packaging. This plastic is harmless to humans and is therefore also used in the food industry. It offers a number of advantages that make it a sustainable choice:
- Recyclable: PE film can also be reused to make new packaging or other products. This is another way to reduce waste and conserve resources. Stable and durable: PE film is stable and durable, so it can be used for a long time. This helps to extend the life of our packaging and reduce the environmental impact
- Reusable: PE film can also be reused to make new packaging or other products. This is another way to reduce waste and conserve resources.
Our printing inks are water-based and contain no hazardous ingredients.
Design
With the new design, we can cover all iPad and MacBook models with just two packaging sizes. The reduced air space in the packaging plays an important role here. On the one hand, this saves storage space and reduces transport costs. On the other hand, we can reduce material consumption and environmental impact at the same time.
Do your bit!
Our packaging material becomes even more sustainable if you reuse it after receiving your order. Once the packaging has served its purpose, you can simply dispose of it, including the PE film, properly as cardboard. As the film is only a small part of the packaging, it can be completely disposed of in the paper recycling cycle without removing the film.
